Through its partnership with the internationally renowned school “La Salle“, Bolivia Digna promotes volunteering and supports other projects with the same goals i.e. promote and defend the rights of infants, children, adolescents, senior citizens and other vulnerable social groups living in exclusion and poverty, in Bolivia.
As such, Bolivia Digna supports several projects in other cities of Bolivia who are working with disadvantaged children or adolescents and providing formal and informal education.
La Salle has two projects in the city of Santa Cruz. The first one is in a home for children with five to eight teenagers from 18 to 25 years old who have suffered some kind of violence. The idea is that they find, in this home, their path in their life.
The second project is also in a home for children with male teenagers from 12 to 17 years old who have suffered some kind of violence too. The idea is to help them in their education when they are not at school (help with homework, teaching them new skills) but also helping find them their own way in life.
We are looking for long-term (6 months – 1 year) volunteers for these projects. More information here.
